The P45 and P43 products are the “high-end” and “low-end” models which do not have integrated graphics support, while the G45 Express and G43 Express are the “high-end” and “low-end” models which do have Intel’s new integrated graphics engine, the X4500 / X4500HD.
As implied by this naming schema, these four products are very close in terms of features, capabilities, and performance.
Those four products are the G45 Express, G43 Express, P45 Express, and the P43 Express. While all of these new chipset products which are being launched today are based on the same core architecture, Intel has segmented this one architecture into four individual products. The products which are launching today will make up the lion’s share of Intel’s chipset lineup until their next generation high-end X58 chipset launches with the Core 2’s successor, codenamed Nehalem. The names and specifications of these products have been rumored and reported on for the past few months, although today everything is set in stone and products are beginning to hit the market.
To resolve a graphics-related issue introduced in newer drivers.Today at Computex, Intel has officially launched their updated lineup of x45-series chipsets, which will likely be the last major mainstream chipset launch from Intel on the Core 2 platform as we know it today. I had seen a link to a beta driver Intel released but the link was broken so I wasn't able to download from it. It's a 64 bit computer and I can't find anything online. Reasons for Installing an Older Graphics Driver Version: I'm wondering where I can find the most updated driver for the G45/G43 Express Chipset for machines running the Windows 10 operating system. Older graphics driver versions not listed in the Download Center may be available at your computer manufacturer's site. Select a previous graphics driver version by choosing it from the Version drop-down menu. Filter by the Drivers Download Type and select the desired driver group. Go to the Download Center and enter the processor number (identified in step 1) in the search bar. This will show the processor information such as the processor number. Press on the Windows key Windows key on your keyboard and start typing System, choose System Information. The system runs fast and stable with very little hicups. I added an additional DVD drive with the original Blue-Ray drive. The original PS is adequate at 350 watts. It will do this whether or not you're routing the signal through an Audio-Video Receiver. Identify the Intel® Processor number and note the Intel® Processor (example: i7-10750H). I upgraded most of the hardware like the GTX 750Ti GPU and the CPU to intel Core 2 Quad 9550 at 2.83GHz. Just wanted to post that all versions of the Windows 7 driver for the G45/G43 Chipset (at least when used with a DG45ID motherboard) seem to overscan at 1920x1080 resolution over HDMI when used with a HDTV.
